My step sister has just bathed the dog. Now she's drying her with a hair dryer. Is this safe? It's a human hairdryer.

It is safe just don't use maximum heat setting and do not blow air in it's eyes or ears let them air dry. Also the dog could fear the noise so make sure to keep it calm and reward it afterwards. If it seems to started use a towl this is my method of choice.

I do it all the time. Now, if the dog is scared and backs away, it's no longer a good thing. As long as you don't hold it too close or on one spot too long- It's just mechanically derived warm air, silly!
