I want to let my hair dry naturally with no hair dryer or straighteners but it goes really fizzy?

I have very thick and slightly wavy hair and I just want to wash it and leave it on holiday (going where theres no electricity!). I don't mind spending a fair bit on products if it works. Can anyone advise?

Thanks in advance

I put anti-frizz serum on my hair when it is damp to help control frizz and air dry it. It seems to work pretty well. I don't use any other product normally.

Use a mousse. It keeps down the frizz.

honestly, if you have no electricity, sit outside for a while and comb your hair as it drys, it really smooths it out, even without products

bring some baby oil and use it when you need it and how much you think you need- its cheap and always available at any store or frizzease i love if you can get that

Try using Icon Mesh, its a gel/cream that grabs onto medium to thick hair types..its a structuralizing cream! You will love it and it smells like sweet tarts! If you dont mind paying to look good!

You can try a clear gloss or serum. Biosilk makes a product called silk therapy which works really well and it has a nice scent. Since you have very thick hair, you can get away with a heavier product than someone who has fine hair. A pomade or styling wax may work also. Try serum as it gives your hair a nice sheen.

Yes, I'm a guy but..

Ive been in that situation real wavy and curly hair that wont settle down.

After I would shower or wash my hair I would use LA looks' Gel to mousse while the hair was still wet, while letting it dry naturally, it would hold and have that natural look.

Hope it helps.

sorry i don't know

there are loads of products on the market that should help - John Frieda do an anti friz. Generally I have just left a conditioner on my hair for about five minutes before rinsing off, then leaving it to dry eau naturalle.

Saying that, my hair is rather fine, but I have a lot of it.

I also find that wearing a hat/scarf helps keep it more managable if I leave it to dry without a hairdryer, especially in hot climates.

sounds like you have hair kinda like mine...

and actually, the stuff i use isnt all that expensive

i just use Garnier Fruictise soothing milk, rub it into your hair when its damp and just let it air dry.

gives it a sleek, natural look- for about $4-5 at drugstores.

good luck :)

hi there i can think of 2 options for you

option 1 go for the straight look try some frizz ease and loads of conditioner (because of the thickness) also ask your hairdresser to thin it out, they cut into your hair making it a little thiner (dont worry it doesnt effect the lengh at all !), oh and also you could invest in one of those things the mobile striaghtners that you dont need electric for (argos would be your best bet)

okay now option 2

if your hairs naturally curly anyway, go for that look and buy loads of curly products like moose, and things and try some old fashioned rags in your hair at night and in the morning it will go nice and curly not frizzy (that way no need for blendy rollers ect.

also try and experiment on having your hair in different ways like twisting your hair and pinning it up if its really hot.

whatever you decide hope you have a nice holiday x

Try using some spray on leave in conditioner. I use a good one which I get from Boots. It's called Lee Staffords 2nd day hair.

I suggest using the Frizz Ease products. I use these on my wavy hair and I love them. Try the shine serum and then use dream curls. It'll bring out the wave a bit and leave it naturally light as it air dries and it won't frizz.

I have the exact same problem but my hairdresser recently told me to put conditioner in after i towel dry it. Works a treat. Trust me. If you have a curl in your hair its gorgeous.

deep condition it, then put some leave-in conditioner use sum moose if u want, the trick here is not to touch it at all

I HAVE THE SAME TYPE OF HAIR. I USE LEAVE IN HAIR AND SCALP TREAMENT...AND A TOUCH OF GEL...YOUR HAIR WILL LOOK SHINY AND NOT FRIZZY..BELIEVE ME IT WORKS.

Look like we share the same problems. Conditional your hair after wash will help.

what you do is this after washing, while wet part in the center and then you comb the right side to the back of you neck and then you comb all thats left at the neck around to the right to meet and then you use a hair net to hold it make sure its a ver thin hair net .good luck.

serum, a good one! one that u leave in and can put on dry hair, that way u can reapply if u need to later on in the day
