How i can make my hair strait without use the hair dryer ?

straighten it!

How i can make my hair strait without use the hair dryer ?

Go to the store and get a conair straightner.

How i can make my hair strait without use the hair dryer ?

buy a hair straightener that's how you can do it or buy a gel or liguid that can help you with it

How i can make my hair strait without use the hair dryer ?

Buy a really good quality ceramic plate flat iron (willl cost about $100-$150) and use it in conjunction with Biosilk Silk Therapy, which will condition and protect your hair as you straighten it. You can let your hair dry naturally, and then section it off into small sections held by clips, apply some Biosilk, and straighten away! I can straighten mine in 15 minutes flat...it just takes a little practice. Too much Biosilk will make your hair feel greasy, but again, a little practice and you'll be straightening like a pro.

If your hair is dry like mine, you may be able to go a few days in between washing it after you've straightened it. It's amazing to wake right up and have great looking, smooth hair.

I used to have my hair chemically straightened, which is the same as getting a perm, and it destroyed my hair. It left it frizzy and I STILL needed to blow it dry, use a curling iron to starighten, etc etc. I highly reccomend against it.

I'm after a new hair dryer, can anyone recommend one? Oh and do the ion ones actually do what they say?

the best ones are a little costly and you probably have to go to a professional beauty supply or salon.. if you cant afford something too expensice use hot tools..

its not as bad as the cheap ones from target and it will get the job done...

ionic is good and taurmaline is great!

the best blow dryer is T3 but i think you either have to know a professional or be a professional to get one...sometimes you can get lucky and find them at Target..

How can you make your hair straight, without using hair dryer??

use mousse and hair spray all over your hair

then use a hair straightener

its easy to get used to

How can you make your hair straight, without using hair dryer??

flat iron

thats what i do to keep my hair straight.. for the most part

but by the end of the day my hair ends up a little curly again :/

u could also try straightening gel, shampoo, or other straightening products

or go to the salon and get magic straight where u permanently straighten your hair

How can you make your hair straight, without using hair dryer??

a flat iron or relaxant if you want something more permanent.

How can you make your hair straight, without using hair dryer??

straighten it w/ an iron or get it done professionally at a beauty salon - called rebonding- that can last for a year. but beware the costs for rebonding

How can you make your hair straight, without using hair dryer??

comb perm solution in your hair all over, and comb straight using firm and absolutely straight strokes. Rinse it as straight as possible(don't scrunch it) and do the same thing with the nuetralizer. It will stay straight until it grows out.

If you don't want to go permanent, use a hot flat iron which is like a curling iron but flat.

If you drop a hair dryer in the ocean how far of a radius will get electorcuted?

Kowning that pure water does not conduct electricty, the answer to your question would be determined by what and how much conducting material is in the water. Since you said "the ocean" and a hair dryer runs on 110 volts @ 4 - 8 amps, your should only get a "tingle" within one to two feet. This same senero is true within your own body if you were to recieve an electric shock. Your body's mineral content can in fact determin whether an electric shock only shocks you or kills you as well as the number of amps and not so much the voltage. Always plug an electric appliciance in wet areas into a ground fault protected plug for this very reason. You know the one with the buttons "TEST" and "RESET" in the middle. There is much more to this but this is the shortest answer. Have a nice day....and maybe you should just dry off with a towel.....

If you drop a hair dryer in the ocean how far of a radius will get electorcuted?

I don't think you would be able to drop in a plugged in hair dryer into the ocean by accident.

If you drop a hair dryer in the ocean how far of a radius will get electorcuted?

you cant put a hair dryer in anyway because there would be not outlet to plug it into!

Why do women shake the hair dryer from side to side?.?

Is it that you are trying to get more air out of it?.

Why do women shake the hair dryer from side to side?.?

Why do women shake the hair dryer from side to side?.?

Why do women shake the hair dryer from side to side?.?

You may never know. It's one of the secrets of having good hair.

Why do women shake the hair dryer from side to side?.?

To keep from geting too much heat on the hair, and also because it hurts the scalp from all the heat. ;-)

How can i get my hair straight without hair straightners or hair dryer or chamicals?

wet it down, then comb it flat and let it dry like that, repeat when ever.....hope i was help. it worked for me

How can i get my hair straight without hair straightners or hair dryer or chamicals?

u can't

How can i get my hair straight without hair straightners or hair dryer or chamicals?

its impossible

How can i get my hair straight without hair straightners or hair dryer or chamicals?

without anything??it just can't be done sorry

How can i get my hair straight without hair straightners or hair dryer or chamicals?

I think there are some hair relaxers that will probably help straighten it out. Even conditioners will probably help moisturize it and weight it down, but none of them will probably do as good a job as a straightener, unfortunately.

How can i get my hair straight without hair straightners or hair dryer or chamicals?

the only way you can do it is by shaving your head bald and then wearing a straight haired wig, how's that for gone with the wind as they would say.or better still.keep it short in such a way that so it dont start crunching into wave's or curls.good luck you can't do it unless you use some thing with chemicals and hot irons on them.

How can i get my hair straight without hair straightners or hair dryer or chamicals?

if you want to straigten your hair you will have to use something like a product or straigtening iron on your hair other wise try and after getting out of the shower comb your hair as straight as you can possibly get it and then let it air dry.

How can i get my hair straight without hair straightners or hair dryer or chamicals?

without naturally straight hair its not possible...or you could wet your hair , hold it straight and maybe spray with hairspray i cant live without my straightner

How can i get my hair straight without hair straightners or hair dryer or chamicals?

brush it or comb it while its still wet it works 4 my curly hair

How can i get my hair straight without hair straightners or hair dryer or chamicals?

If you don't want to use chemicals or straighteners, then there's no way you can get it straight and get it to stay that way. If it turns straight sometimes, you could try combing your hair with a fine-tooth comb while your hair is still wet and continue to comb it until it's dry. I did that once to make my hair really straight, it worked really well.

How can i get my hair straight without hair straightners or hair dryer or chamicals?

it's about impossible to get straight hair without heat or chemicals

How can i get my hair straight without hair straightners or hair dryer or chamicals?

Do you only brush your hair once when your hair is real wet and the next you brush is it dry? If yes! this is the reason you cannot keep it straight! Brush your hair with hair brush then comb when it is wet then as it dampens brush again with just a comb thoroughly and slow. Don't shake it or throw it after combing until it is completely dry!!!

How can i get my hair straight without hair straightners or hair dryer or chamicals?

Im not I guy, (if u can tell by my avatar, but this works for me:

1. Go buy a good shampoo and conditioner, maybe from a salon, if u can drop that much cash ( i did)

2. Take a shower, and fully lather ur hair w/ shampoo, wait 4 minutes before washing out.

3. Then repeat with conditioner

4. When you get out, shake your head ( yeaaa, do the head banger)

5. Use A/G set it straight straightener (buy it on like ebay or amazon or sumthing....or u can go to the salon again...thats were i got mine)

6. Run the product through your hair, shake again, brush, shake, DONE

(u can subsitute the A/G straightner for another brand of relaxers.)

luv always,

the faboulous me

What is the BEST hair dryer for a professional stylist?

I just bought the evolution dryer, you can get it at Mayl's or Cosmo prof, I love mine, it is lightweight and it gets really hot so i recommend it only to professionals. They make an equivalent one called featherweight , it costs less and doesn't get as hot, my coworker has that one and she likes it too but she likes mine better. It is also pretty pricey so be prepared to spend between $160.00 to $200.00.

Can I pack a hair dryer for my trip if I'm flying some where?

of course you can. if your hair dryer has two voltage settings it'll be better. bring an adaptor too just in case their plugs are different.

Can I pack a hair dryer for my trip if I'm flying some where?

Yes but it may not work. Depending on where you go the voltage may be different. Most places have hairblowers - you could call ahead and check.

My hair dryer got wet while off. I unplugged it and dried it off. Can I use it tom. or will it shock

Just make sure it's dry. Most of these gadgets have safety switches built in.You should be ok.

My hair dryer got wet while off. I unplugged it and dried it off. Can I use it tom. or will it shock me??

I'm not too sure, but it might. I suggest buying another one just in case.

Can you bring a hair dryer to another country?

I know it's a really obvious question, but I just want to make sure

[Conair hairdryer/straightner]

Can you bring a hair dryer to another country?

It is absolutely fine but you do need an adapter. Depending on how much hair you have you might want to consider saving the packing space and just picking up a hairdryer at your destination - I did this in several different countries for the US equavalent of about $15 give or take .. then just left them in the hotel room when we left - it was easier than the adapter thing because you need a whole set to make sure you have the right one .. When I packed a hairdryer to take to Hungary I blew it out the first night with the wrong adapter!

Can you bring a hair dryer to another country?

Yes. I have taken mine to the UK as well as Spain. You must buy an adapter plug though as the fittings are a bit different there and they are on direct current. Travel stores all carry adapter plugs or perhaps at a major mall you can find them.

Can you bring a hair dryer to another country?

Absolutely. I don't use them anymore, because I think it's healthier to air dry overnight. But, yes it is completely okay. You do need to be sure to take some plug adapters for the countries you visit. You don't want to short out your appliance.

Can you bring a hair dryer to another country?

yep! thats perfectly ok, just remember your adapters, or else you will end up like the travelocity knome... lol. but anyway, you can find them at radio shack for reasonable prices, you will need the plug adapter as well as the voltage adapter. there is a set of like 4 or 5 adapters so if you go to more than 1 country and all are different plugs. hope this helps!

Can you bring a hair dryer to another country?

yes you can. do u want to? if still have space, in the luggage, sure.

why not get one from wherever you go, it most likely have a different plug. then bring it back and give it as a gift to your mother in law in a nice wrapping paper.

Infiniti Hair Designer 208R hair dryer by Conair?

I'm considering buying one of these. Anyone have any feedback on how well it works or whether it is easy to use?

Infiniti Hair Designer 208R hair dryer by Conair?

If you're talking about the pink one.. that's suppose to straighten.

If you have frizzy, wavy/curly hair. It doesn't help at all. I have it. It just makes it like little wavy.. not the big waves/curls. And theni have to straighten it still. I suggest just keep your blow dryer and get a straightener.

How to straighten the hair using the hair dryer?

here it shows you step by step and gives you tips!

http://www.hairboutique.com/tips/tip1000...

How to straighten the hair using the hair dryer?

u need a round brush, doesn't matter what size really but I'd use about a inch.....

How to straighten the hair using the hair dryer?

STEP 1: To straighten hair, begin by shampooing, conditioning and towel-drying hair.

STEP 2: Apply a heat protectant product to your hair, paying special attention to the ends.

STEP 3: Place a quarter-size dollop of straightening balm in your palm. Rub your palms together to distribute the product over your hands, then massage it evenly through hair.

STEP 4: Comb through your hair with your fingers while gently blow-drying it on a low setting. This removes excess water. STEP 5: Pull your hair into three sections, two at the sides and one at the back. Clip the two sides up.

STEP 6: Select a small portion of the hair from the unclipped section to straighten.

STEP 7: Using a thick, round brush and beginning at the roots, gently pull the brush through the hair to the ends while blow-drying it. Pull the hair away from your head, stretching and straightening it as you go.

STEP 8: First pull the brush through the underside of your hair so that you expose it directly to the heat of the dryer. Once that area is mostly dry, switch to the top of the hair.

STEP 9: Keep the tension consistent and evenly distribute heat over the section of hair you're working on. This ensures uniform hair texture and prevents overdrying of certain areas.

STEP 10: Once that portion of hair is straightened, continue selecting and blow-drying small portions until that section is dry and straight.

STEP 11: Repeat the process on the two other sections to straighten your entire head of hair. Tips %26amp; Warnings

Always point the dryer down as you blow-dry hair; blowing hair upward can cause frizzies.

Tame flyaway hair with an antifrizz serum or pomade. Place a few drops in your hand, rub gently to distribute it, then apply it your hair according to the product instructions.

To achieve flat hair, finish styling with a ceramic flat-iron designed for hair after following the steps above. Choose the heat setting for your hair type, and allow flat-iron to warm before using. Select portions of hair, as per blow-drying directions, and slide heated flat-iron along hair, beginning close to the roots and going past the ends of hair, repeating if needed to fully flatten hair.

Overall Tips %26amp; Warnings

As with all electrical devices, be cautious when using blow-dryers and flat-irons around water and/or children. Unplug blow-dryer and flat-iron after use, and keep the flat-iron out of reach until cooled to prevent burns.

How to straighten the hair using the hair dryer?

Hi there, the answer above is pretty good, but I would suggest a Paddle brush rather than a round brush. You get more surface area and round brushes tend to tangle more easily.

Make sure you use a directional nozzle on your dryer.

Another tip is not to start from wet wet hair. take most of the moisture out first by using your fingers rather than a brush to pull the hair while drying then when about 50% dry start using the brush.

Finally finish with a blast of cold air, the heat from the dryer opens the cuticle of the hair and allows you to stretch it out, the blast of cold will close the cuticle quickly and make your blow dry last a bit longer.

If you have fine hair be careful with the products, straightening balms can be quite heavy, make sure to pick one which is appropriate to your hair type.

How to straighten the hair using the hair dryer?

While u r drying ur hair, you brush it... that is how i do it... it also comes out with alot of body.. =]

How to straighten the hair using the hair dryer?

i would suggest before doing anything to get a really good blowdryer the ELCHIM with the extra pieces is the best. besides for this little fact, the other answers are great! good luck!

How to straighten the hair using the hair dryer?

tie off in sections spray heat protectant on %26amp; I reccomend some haor milk and/or serum. Blowdry with round brush. Iron to set style.=)

I dont know how to get it back to work any ideas?? I know it is not messed up but just some reset button and a test button that I need to press..any ideas will greatly help

My hair dryer is not working. I pressed some reset button adn now it is not working. I tried pressing it back?

Look for a (probably) red button on the receptacle rather than on the dryer itself-

My hair dryer is not working. I pressed some reset button adn now it is not working. I tried pressing it back?

That shouldn't be the problem, pressing the reset button. It could have blown up, like mine always do. But then you would be hearing some sort of high pitched sound.

My hair dryer is not working. I pressed some reset button adn now it is not working. I tried pressing it back?

buy a new 1

My hair dryer is not working. I pressed some reset button adn now it is not working. I tried pressing it back?

the filter looking thing in the back could be clogged

My hair dryer is not working. I pressed some reset button adn now it is not working. I tried pressing it back?

It might be overheated. Put it in the freezer for a couple of minutes.

My hair dryer is not working. I pressed some reset button adn now it is not working. I tried pressing it back?

if you tried both buttons, a different outlet and the reset on the outlet than your dryer may be broken this happened to mine i only had it for 2 weeks and it just broke for no reason!

Is there a difference between a HAIR DRYER and a BLOW DRYER?

No, they're the same. =]

Is there a difference between a HAIR DRYER and a BLOW DRYER?

no, they're the same. just diff terms.

Is there a difference between a HAIR DRYER and a BLOW DRYER?

Nope

Is there a difference between a HAIR DRYER and a BLOW DRYER?

No Not Really x

Is there a difference between a HAIR DRYER and a BLOW DRYER?

nope!

Is there a difference between a HAIR DRYER and a BLOW DRYER?

Yes, blow dryers a typically handheld whereas a hairdryer is the chair you sit in at the salon. I've never heard that referred to as a blow dryer. More like a hood-dryer.

Is there a difference between a HAIR DRYER and a BLOW DRYER?

It is the same. Both are used for drying hair. Blow dryer which blows wet hairs to dry them,is called hair dryer too, because it dry hairs.

I hope it helps :)

Is there a difference between a HAIR DRYER and a BLOW DRYER?

Yes, in deed. Years ago your mother or your mother's mother used a hair dryer. A hair dryer is used when a woman put her hair in curlers and sat under a hair dryer to dry her hair. It was a larg egg shaped half shell with holes in it to allow hot air to pass threw to dry her hair. The base of the machine was a large blower and heater coil that was behind her with a tube leading to the egg shell.

A hair blower is the modern hand held version of the hair dryer that blows air with a force to dry your hair.

Is there a difference between a HAIR DRYER and a BLOW DRYER?

NO. IT'S THE SAME THING.

Hi guys..is a blow dryer and a hair dryer same or different?Jus help me out?

they are the same thing.

just two different names for the same thing.

Hi guys..is a blow dryer and a hair dryer same or different?Jus help me out?

Hi guys..is a blow dryer and a hair dryer same or different?Jus help me out?

very much the same thing just two diff names..ie uk pavement us side walk samething just diff. names

Hi guys..is a blow dryer and a hair dryer same or different?Jus help me out?

they are pretty much the same thing. The one difference is that well a blow dryer you can hold it up high and you can move it around places and a hair dryer you have to sit under and it covers your entire head.

Hi guys..is a blow dryer and a hair dryer same or different?Jus help me out?

A blow dryer is put in public rest rooms to dry your hands without paper towels.

A hair dryer is used anywhere to dry your hair.

Whats a Hair Diffusor and a Concentrator on a hair dryer for??

Hair diffuser creates swirling airflow for fast, gentle hair drying. For instance, someone who likes to wear their hair curly, you can put mousse in it while wet and then dry it with the diffusor. The blow dryer drys the hair without blowing the curls out.

Concentrator nozzle provides pinpoint styling, control and accuracy. For example, when wanting to straighten someone's hair, a concentrator is used to direct the heat on one section of the hair.

Whats a Hair Diffusor and a Concentrator on a hair dryer for??

The hair diffuser is for people with curly hair, it doesn't make the hair as frizzy when drying it. The concentrator is for people that round brush the hair, you can put the concentrator directly on the round brush without worrying that it may get too hot.

Best hair dryer to use?

I have a Mettallic Blue Hair dryer, by Conair, it works awesome!!!

Does that new hair dryer that adds proteins into your hair as it dries, actually work?!?

If any one who's tried it could back to me? That would be great:) Dont wanna waste money to find its just the same as the rest!

Does that new hair dryer that adds proteins into your hair as it dries, actually work?!?

i'd have to say no since there's no protein in hot air.

i don't like using the dryer but if you want to look nice you will bare it. what i do is try to place a towel around my neck, ears and face it seems to help and make it more bearable. but the good thing about it helps from getting ear rack better known as ear infection from water going into the air.

Do You Like Sitting Under A Salon Hair Dryer Thing?

I hate it too. The heat became hotter. I felt like my hair %26amp; skin were burning. The hair-stylist just set the timer on and attended to other things. Thanks!

Do You Like Sitting Under A Salon Hair Dryer Thing?

The "quick dry"... I do %26amp; I don't. I do because it cuts the amount of time I would spend under a regular dryer in half, i don't because it's freaking hot.lol

What is the best professional hair dryer for thick, waved and frizzy hair?

Hot Tools Blow Dryer

What is the best professional hair dryer for thick, waved and frizzy hair?

chi bio-ionic . . . we all swear by them in the salon

Anyone have the conair infinity hair dryer? is it good to straighten wavy hair?

if you want to straigten your hair i suggest you buy a flat iron. works MUCH better than a blowdrier.

Anyone have the conair infinity hair dryer? is it good to straighten wavy hair?

no it didnt work for me !!

I have a US hair dryer that operates on 110-125 Volts will it work in the electrical outlets in Pari

Paris electrical outlets work on 110-240 Volts

I have a US hair dryer that operates on 110-125 Volts will it work in the electrical outlets in Paris?

Only if you have an adapter. The shape of the outlet is different and to convert the power down to you 110 volt dryer.

You can check for them among the travel gadgets at a luggage store.

I have a US hair dryer that operates on 110-125 Volts will it work in the electrical outlets in Paris?

from my point of view....YES

I have a US hair dryer that operates on 110-125 Volts will it work in the electrical outlets in Paris?

NO.

You could use a voltage converter (to convert 240v to 120v), but appliances like blow dryers don't work well with a converter.

Either get a dual-voltage (120/240) blow dryer in the USA or just buy one in Paris.

If you get a dual-voltage blow dryer you will still need an adapter to allow the flat-prong USA plug to fit round-prong European outlets. Adapters are available at luggage shops and electronics stores.

I recommend you just get one in Paris.

I have a US hair dryer that operates on 110-125 Volts will it work in the electrical outlets in Paris?

I'm afraid you been give some bad advice regarding the voltage in France. They operate on a 230v, 50 hz system compared to a 110v 60hz system in the US. If you try to plug your hair dryer into a 230 v system, you will fry the hair dryer and possibly yourself. You will need a voltage converter as well as an adaptor for your plug. Make sure you check the wattage of your hair dryer and and buy an appropiate converter for that wattage. The website will show you what you need: http://www.kropla.com/electric2.htm

You can buy the adaptor and converter at travel stores and most places that sell luggage. Many of the better hotels these days have 110v outlets in the bathrooms for hair dryers only, and many also supply hair dryers, maybe you can find out from your hotel before you buy anything. Have fun.

I have a US hair dryer that operates on 110-125 Volts will it work in the electrical outlets in Paris?

You'll need an adapter and a converter. Personally, I don't bother with a hair dryer... my curling iron operates on dual voltage and I only have to carry the plug adapters. We like to travel light... that's the advice we give to everyone. The easier you can make travel, the more fun you'll have.

Happy travels... even if you don't travel the world... just remember that life is a journey... embrace and enjoy it! http://www.mousetourstravels.com

Hair dryer vs. straightener?

Which is better to use? And which one will cause less damage?

Hair dryer vs. straightener?

A hair dryer cuases less damage but it might not make your hair perfectly straight with no poofiness. A straightner is easy to use but will cuase more damage to your hair and will give you the straight nice look. Using both of these tools its always best to use heat protectant and do deep conditioning once a week so it won't cuase as much damage.

Hair dryer vs. straightener?

blow dryer

Hair dryer vs. straightener?

I would think a hair dryer would be less damaging, especially if you use one of those thermal protecting hair products prior to drying.

Hair dryer vs. straightener?

both can be harmless to hair if you put on a protective spray/gel/cream/ in before you straighten or blowdry your hair!

but if no products are used, i think that blowdrying is less harmless....

hmm, blowing hair with warm air, or flattening it with two metal pinchers of heat...and DOOM! im just joking

but yeah, thats what i think

=)

Hair dryer vs. straightener?

Hair dryer will cause less damage but the straightener will give you the right look. Personally, I'd use a straightener.

Hair dryer vs. straightener?

Blow dryer is better if u can manage to do it urself and it is less dameging for the simple fact that the heat is further away from ur hair than the straightner would be.

Hair dryer vs. straightener?

hair dryer is less damaging but i use a straightener any ways lol :D

Hair dryer vs. straightener?

If you want sleek and shiny results--use the straightener.

If you need a quick do and don't like your frizz-- use hair dryer.

The straightener causes more burning in your hair. I use it everyday and I never get split ends or dry hair because

1) befor i straighten, I put Pantene Pro-V Protective Spray. It protects your hair from the heat and makes it look healthier.

2) I try not to straighten the ends of my hair too much. It causes more split ends if you do.

Gonna buy a treseme hair dryer off amazon for a xmas present.?

Gonna buy a treseme hair dryer off amazon for a xmas present.?

As far as I'm aware it comes in a cardboard presentation box.

When was the hair dryer invented, and by whom?

The very first hair dryers were vacuum cleaners adapted for drying hair. Alexandre Godefoy invented the first electric hair dryer in 1890.

In 1971, the first hand-held blow-dryer limited trips to the salon by making it easy to simply "blow and go".

When was the hair dryer invented, and by whom?

i agree with the first answer

Whats the highest wattage hair dryer I can buy?

I'd like to find one with a concentrator. Price doesn't matter.

Whats the highest wattage hair dryer I can buy?

The Acme 5000SX -- it operates on 3 phase, 230 volt current, has a 2 hp blower motor, and will dry your hair before you even turn it on.

Does hair dryer cause hair loss??

IF YOU ARE CRAZY ENOUGH TO STAY UNDER THERE THAT LONG ..MY DEAR

Does hair dryer cause hair loss??

i dont believe so. it causes alot of damage to your hair however.

pulling your hair up too tight and stress can be a factor of hairloss

Does hair dryer cause hair loss??

It does not cause technical hair loss like balding. However because of the damage it causes to the hair, the hair is weak and breaks easily.

Does hair dryer cause hair loss??

it may but i depends on the ingredens inside the bottle!

Does hair dryer cause hair loss??

Hair Loss is because the hair is damaged and can't hold onto the root anymore.....The best way to find the best products for your hair is to try them all. That would be pretty expensive but go over to a friends house and use some of her stuff. See how it works, and just keep trying new things. Hair may work with products from this company and not that company....it's all trial and error.

If I can suggest something, I would suggest you try a hot oil treatment....for a cheaper way to have great soft and silky hair with less frizzies, warm up some olive oil (regular cooking stuff) in the microwave and massage it into your hair while it is dry. Wrap it up in a warm towel from the drier and sit for an hour or so. Maybe give yourself a facial at the same time. Then get in the shower, and shampoo out all the oil (because water won't get the oil out--oil and water don't mix) and then condition your hair. Viola! Beautiful silky hair.

The most key thing to protecting your locks is to stay away from all heat. Yep, that means no hairdrier, no straightner, no curling iron either....It's very hard not to advert to these products but just try it for a week. Don't blow dry your hair for a week....try it. I know it's hard not to but if you stay away from things with heat such as blow driers, curling irons, straightners, etc....you will notice a HUGE change in the feel and look of your hair. It will be so much more healthy.

Hair dryer and straightner is burning my hair, what do i do to restore it?

I'm sorry to say it sister, but there is no way to 'restore' your hair. Although a lot of products claim that it's possible, it not. What you need to do is get your hair trimmed every 4-6 weeks. Keep the hair dryer as far away from your hair as possible. If you get to close you can burn your hair. Also, the straightening iron, keep it on a low to medium setting and don't pull your hair out when you use it. You can't restore your hair but you can give the impression that you have great hair by using John Frieda Hair Serum, it's pricey and it comes in a small bottle but it's well worth it. It makes your hair look smooth and glamourous. Just don't over-use it or your hair will look and feel greasy. Good Luck.

Hair dryer and straightner is burning my hair, what do i do to restore it?

There are tons of restoring shampoos and conditioners ( your can get them at walmart)

Hair dryer and straightner is burning my hair, what do i do to restore it?

i had the same problem all u need to do when you blow dry it do the ends first then do the rest of yoyr hair

Hair dryer and straightner is burning my hair, what do i do to restore it?

Conditioner conditioner conditioner. And try to lay off the straightening for a while. Let it rest and then next time you straighten, use the proper products to protect your hair.

Hair dryer and straightner is burning my hair, what do i do to restore it?

Try a heating treatment. V05 hot oil is nice to do. Try doing it once a week. Also if you can get away with it, try letting your natural hair oils come through once and a while. I straighten my hair but only twice a week. It sounds dirty but really it's not. Thats what bath tubs are for!!

Hair dryer and straightner is burning my hair, what do i do to restore it?

Buy a good leave-in conditioner, quit drying your hair so much - let it dry naturally, style with an anti-frizz cream and let your natural curls shine!

Hair dryer and straightner is burning my hair, what do i do to restore it?

a good restortive shampoo and conditernor such as pantene restortive lay off the straight iron it will damage it more than a blow dryer if you want to straighten your hair i suggest that you go and have it professionally straightened my daughter had it done and she dosen't have to use a blow dryer and a straightener and it will last 6 to8 months and it dosen't damage your hair

Who invent the hair dryer?

The first hair dryer was a vaccum cleaner, around the turn of the century , women dried their hair by connecting the hose to the exhaust. In 1920 the first hair dryer came on the market but it was very heavy. 1951 the lightweight hair dryer came out.

I've heard that using a hair-dryer can damage your hair.is that true?

i use it very rarely but my stylist tells me all the time not to.

I've heard that using a hair-dryer can damage your hair.is that true?

Too much of anything is harmful to your hair. But if you use it correctly there isn't a problem. as long as you condition your hair very well and don't hold the dryer directly on top of your hair all the time....or pull the brush through tighly while holding heat on it. I know the stylists all do that, but it's very stressful on the hair. I only blow dry my hair when i'm going out and let it "airdry" the rest of the time and i noticed it's so much more healthier now. I used to wash and blow dry it twice a day in my younger club years....it took years to get my hair back into shape, but i did lose alot of it due to all that stress. buy a good gently shampoo and good conditioner and blow dry in moderation. good luck

I've heard that using a hair-dryer can damage your hair.is that true?

Anytime you put heat on your hair it damages it, whether it is from a hair dryer or curling iron.

I've heard that using a hair-dryer can damage your hair.is that true?

Itz true...you use too much hair dryer your hair bcomes weak and eventually falls offf....i shud know it happened to a f4rend of mine

a huge patch came right offf

I've heard that using a hair-dryer can damage your hair.is that true?

yes thats true it weakens your hair but once in a way is ok!!

I've heard that using a hair-dryer can damage your hair.is that true?

a blow dryer wont damage your hair, what it does is probably leads to split ends

HAIR DRYER REPAIRS-I have just bought a t3 tourmaline overnight hair dryer, when I first used it, it

worked ok, second time I used it it seems like the fan has come loose, so when I switch it on the motor runs, but the fan has become loose. I tryed opening it up but have struggled because I dont want to damage the appliance from outside by sticking a screwdriver in the ridges to pull apart. What do you recommend, hope someone can help please.

HAIR DRYER REPAIRS-I have just bought a t3 tourmaline overnight hair dryer, when I first used it, it?

Take it back to where you bought it and exchange it for another

HAIR DRYER REPAIRS-I have just bought a t3 tourmaline overnight hair dryer, when I first used it, it?

Most hair dryers have a guarantee of some sort. Don't try to take it apart as this will null %26amp; void any guarantee. Take it back to the store and get a new one. Probably just a fluke.

What's better, "Light Me Up! Bed Head Ceramic 1 inch flat iron," or "Light Me Up

I have short to medium length straight/wavy brown hair.

What's better, "Light Me Up! Bed Head Ceramic 1 inch flat iron," or "Light Me Up! Bed Head ionic Hair dryer"

I know the Bed Head styling tools seem like they would be good (and are cute as well) but trust me, they are very poor quality. My sister, cousin, and grandmother all are cosmetologists and they say that those are horrible tools, as well as my mom, who got the straightener and curling iron and experienced it firsthand.

What's better, "Light Me Up! Bed Head Ceramic 1 inch flat iron," or "Light Me Up! Bed Head ionic Hair dryer"

I agree whith the girl!

ba4ba

Why is an ionic hair dryer better than a regular one?

Ionic hair dryers are supposed to help dry your hair faster and help reduce "fly aways". They're also supposed to help make your hair shinier and softer. I've used both and I don't notice a difference. If you keep your hair trimed regularly and condition it with a good conditioner it'll look good and stay healthy. Also using ceramic tools and brushes helps. :)

Why is an ionic hair dryer better than a regular one?

frizz control

Why is an ionic hair dryer better than a regular one?

when you brush it try to brush it better.

Is anyone else all thumbs when it comes to using a hair dryer?

I just tried to straighten my hair.... the sides look good but I screwed up the back.....

Is anyone else all thumbs when it comes to using a hair dryer?

That's definitely me Sam, thank God for my flat iron !

Sometimes I wish that I could unscrew my head put

it on my vanity and then do my hair. (lol)

It would certainly turn out better !

Hugs,

Is anyone else all thumbs when it comes to using a hair dryer?

For me it's a curling iron. I finally gave up!

Is anyone else all thumbs when it comes to using a hair dryer?

I blow dry my hair then use a Chi flat iron on all of it. If I had rely on hair dryer alone...girl, I'd look awful.

Is anyone else all thumbs when it comes to using a hair dryer?

um, sweetie, a hair dryer is primarily used to blow dry one's hair and it is pretty difficult to use if you're trying to straighten your hair. there's something called a "hair straightener".....one brand that i can think that makes it is conair....you can get the straightener anywhere. i got mine at sears last year!

Is anyone else all thumbs when it comes to using a hair dryer?

No, I can use them pretty good. It's the flat irons that get me.

Is anyone else all thumbs when it comes to using a hair dryer?

I sometimes use a hair dryer to straighten my hair, when i let it air dry it gets wavy, but when I blow dry it is is straight. But yeah, I used to be retarded when it came to blow drying my hair, and using a hair straightener. But the more I use it, the better I get. I am by no means a hair stylist, but it ends up looking presentable...

I'm going nuts trying to find which is the better hair dryer overall. Is it the Chi Turbo or T3

I want LOW EMF, fastest drying time with the silkiest results, and the least amount of damage. Please help. I have thick wavy hair.

I'm going nuts trying to find which is the better hair dryer overall. Is it the Chi Turbo or T3 Featherweight ?

got a chi turbo as a reward at work. best present they ever gave me. cuts down drying time on clients by half. LOVE it. never tried the T3. the chi is SUPER lightweight too. no more bursitis (burning in shoulders) from blow-drying all day. air doesn't come out at super high speeds, but gets pretty hot. i see less frizz when im done blow drying, and i don't usually do the round brush thing on clients, as i usually flat iron after blow-drying.

hope i helped!

What will happen if you drop your (plugged in) hair dryer in the water while taking a bath?

i always blow dry my hair while taking a bath but my husband told me i have to stop.

What will happen if you drop your (plugged in) hair dryer in the water while taking a bath?

You'll be burnt to a crisp.

What will happen if you drop your (plugged in) hair dryer in the water while taking a bath?

it will be a VERY shocking experience. please don't do that anymore

What will happen if you drop your (plugged in) hair dryer in the water while taking a bath?

I call your bluff and raise you twenty. Look at the guy's profile, and check out the other questions he's asked.

What will happen if you drop your (plugged in) hair dryer in the water while taking a bath?

you would be fatally electrocuted. That's considered a way of committing suicide- you had better stop.

No offense, but that is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. If you love your family you won't let them lose you in such a ridiculous way.

Aah Jimmy you're right! Now I feel like one of the dumbest things.

What will happen if you drop your (plugged in) hair dryer in the water while taking a bath?

Well go ahead and drop it in there and let me know how that goes.

What will happen if you drop your (plugged in) hair dryer in the water while taking a bath?

you will get electrocuted. If you don't die, which there is a real possibility that you might, it will hurt very badly. Careful now.....

What will happen if you drop your (plugged in) hair dryer in the water while taking a bath?

YOU FOOL!!! Are you trying to kill yourself? Really!!!!!!!! Read the warnings in the packaging that came with your dryer! Your husband right! You can VERY EASILY electrocute yourself!! That means that all the muscles in your body cramp down harder than you ever thought could happen - hard enough to brake your arm and leg bones. While this is happening, your body will feel like it is on fire inside. Then it gets worse and finally, you die. Horribly!

ARE YOU GETTING THE MESSAGE YET?

What will happen if you drop your (plugged in) hair dryer in the water while taking a bath?

That depends.

If you drop it in the water while you are in the water, you die.

If you drop it in the water while someone else is in the water, they die and you go to prison.

If you have a GFI on the plug, the only thing that happens is you ruin the hair dryer.

What will happen if you drop your (plugged in) hair dryer in the water while taking a bath?

I actually saw an experiment of this on "Myth Busters"--and the obvious answer is correct--you will fry.

Everytime I use my hair dryer it blows off the fuse in the whole house. Please suggest what needs to

If it is causing the whole house to go dark, you have a problem in your breaker box. It it's just causing one breaker to go out, you have a hair dryer that is drawing too much current for that breaker. Replace the hair dryer. If the problem continues, you need an electrician to replace that circuit breaker.

Another thing you can do is disconnect other appliances from that set of circuits. Maybe the hair dryer combined with a coffee pot and space heater is just too much.

abc

Everytime I use my hair dryer it blows off the fuse in the whole house. Please suggest what needs to be done.?

Plug it into a different socket

Everytime I use my hair dryer it blows off the fuse in the whole house. Please suggest what needs to be done.?

Get a new one!

Everytime I use my hair dryer it blows off the fuse in the whole house. Please suggest what needs to be done.?

Tanya, you need to rewire your entire house.

Everytime I use my hair dryer it blows off the fuse in the whole house. Please suggest what needs to be done.?

Move your hair dryer. There are too many things hooked to that socket.

Everytime I use my hair dryer it blows off the fuse in the whole house. Please suggest what needs to be done.?

You may need to turn off any thing you don't need at the time your using it. Also replace the curcuit breaker,it may worn out. They get old after awhile.

Everytime I use my hair dryer it blows off the fuse in the whole house. Please suggest what needs to be done.?

Call an electrician, that's probably a fire hazard. While he's there have him look at your electrical panel and tell you if he thinks it's adequate for your household or it just basically needs to be replaced because of age.

Everytime I use my hair dryer it blows off the fuse in the whole house. Please suggest what needs to be done.?

Switch to a lower wattage hair dryer. It is drawing too many watts/amps for the current circuit. Otherwise, you need some electrical work done to upgrade your outlets.

Everytime I use my hair dryer it blows off the fuse in the whole house. Please suggest what needs to be done.?

Is it blowing just one leg (FUSE) of the incoming service line? If so the fuse box is probably unbalanced draw (meaning more large draw circuits on one side than other), several other suggestion have been made about switching outlets, turning off other large draw items. One other suggestion clean the air inflow screen on the hair dryer, stoppage will cause overheating and more power consumption

My sis inlaw hubbys brothers wife got me a hair dryer for gift, i said oh i have 1 already was that

have been married 15 yrs, this was first birthday gift ever, from inlaws, when she gave it to me, she said oh it is ionic so its good for your hair, innocently i automatically replied oh i already have a hairdryer with that feature, she didnt seem offended, i just didnt want to keep something that i wouldnt be able to use, but she hasnt replaced it with anything, should she, i have been the one to purchase several gifts for her and her hubby, and put a lot of thought into their gifts, just recently for her hubby i framed pictures of him and my hubby when they were kids, and changed them to look like sketches, he seemed very pleased, so i now feel a little hurt that theres been nothing else in place of the one gift they did give me, my hubby doesnt seem to care either, and personally i would never buy a woman a hairdryer, its the one thing most woman have already, any opinions on this

My sis inlaw hubbys brothers wife got me a hair dryer for gift, i said oh i have 1 already was that rude?

No, u just let them know that u already have one already, but what u can do is keep it and u will have two, just in case one of them brakes or it blows up (lol.....), but I am serious, just tell them that u appreciate them getting u another one, tell them that it can come in handy if ur 1st one brakes or blows up.... later

My sis inlaw hubbys brothers wife got me a hair dryer for gift, i said oh i have 1 already was that rude?

Why cant you take it and exchange it for something you want?

Never make the mistake of thinking that everyone should or will think like you.

My sis inlaw hubbys brothers wife got me a hair dryer for gift, i said oh i have 1 already was that rude?

yes extremey

My sis inlaw hubbys brothers wife got me a hair dryer for gift, i said oh i have 1 already was that rude?

i think thats a little rude. Remember....its the thought that counts. In those situations its just better to smile and say thanks. But on the bright side, you have two hair dryers, one for regular use and a backup you can pack in a bag take on trips!

My sis inlaw hubbys brothers wife got me a hair dryer for gift, i said oh i have 1 already was that rude?

IT depends on the way you said it gifts are just not just gifts its the thought behind it you should of just accepted it and kept it she didnt have to know you didnt want it and if i was her i would never buy you another gift because its the thought behind the gift she didnt have to get you anything but she was nice enough to go out and get you something if i was you i would give her an apoligy and accept the gift back

My sis inlaw hubbys brothers wife got me a hair dryer for gift, i said oh i have 1 already was that rude?

Yes, your comment was rude...and if the givers wanted you to be able to exchange it they'd have included the reciept for you to do so. You can try to return it to a store that sells that same model, and get something else if you desire but a gift should be appreciated whether you already have one or not. Gifts shouldn't be expected in the first place...seems a bit materialistic.

My sis inlaw hubbys brothers wife got me a hair dryer for gift, i said oh i have 1 already was that rude?

How to put this delicately? I believe when you gift give, you should do it out of the kindness of your heart and never expect something back, that's the point of giving. If you are giving with the hopes that you'll get something in return, then you're doing sort of an "exchange" or purchase. The whole point of a gift is that there is no consideration attached.

To your question, when I first read it, I immediately assumed that it was a very young person writing it. You've been married for 15 years and got your first gift. Instead of feeling happy you actually got something, you're upset and actually wanted to offend her "thought" of getting you a hairdryer. Instead of thinking "wow, at least she thought of me" you thought "geez, who gives somebody a hairdryer and why didn't she get the hint that she should get me something I don't already have" because you're entitled due to the gifts you gave her husband (let's face it, they weren't for her, they were geared for her husband).

If this had been me, I would not only refuse to replace it, I would never get you anything again because the point of gift giving is feeling the joy it brings the other person. You shouldn't feel hurt at all. Maybe you wouldn't buy somebody a hairdryer, but you know what? You have no idea why she thought of giving you that gift. I've gifted electric toothbrushes because I felt they were the best thing to ever happen to my teeth (no cavities since I got one 10 years ago and compliments). Maybe she felt the same about finding the "ionic" hairdryer and wanted to share the greatness.

I would be offended if my friend returned the toothbrush and said "I already have one" in an nonchalant...errr...innocent tone. If, however, they had been happy about the gift and said "Oh, I just got one of these and LOVE it! thanks for the thought, but maybe somebody else will enjoy it more" then I'd happily take back the gift and think about an alternative later on. There's always the "re-gift" you do in private, which I have also done with some "unthoughtful" gifts. You say thank you very much, send a thank you card, and move on.

I think that you need to be the better person here. You should get your Thank-you stationary out, send her a card (even if you didn't keep the card). Just say, "I really appreciate the hairdryer you got me which was obviously thoughtful since I already have one. I hope you found somebody that would enjoy it." She could take it or leave it for what it's worth at that point.

Point is: You got a gift, you were an ingrate because you felt you deserved more, you need to thank her.

My sis inlaw hubbys brothers wife got me a hair dryer for gift, i said oh i have 1 already was that rude?

Yes it was rude, very rue, it may not have seemed like it but I'm sure you offended her! She was just trying to be nice to you%26amp;your hair!

How can i make my hair curly, as in twists without using any mousse or hair curlers or hair dryer?

I have dead straight hair and if i want to curl it, i need to braid it the night before, then i will let it loose it the morning but it just looks wavy. I'm trying to get the curls which you can call locks, the ones that are like twists.

How can i make my hair curly, as in twists without using any mousse or hair curlers or hair dryer?

its difficult

How can i make my hair curly, as in twists without using any mousse or hair curlers or hair dryer?

I think you need to how how to roll your hair with rags. I'm afraid I don't know how to do it, though.

How can i make my hair curly, as in twists without using any mousse or hair curlers or hair dryer?

hair sculpting lotion

How can i make my hair curly, as in twists without using any mousse or hair curlers or hair dryer?

Use a curling iron, it allows you to get the amount of curl you desire.

How can i make my hair curly, as in twists without using any mousse or hair curlers or hair dryer?

If you dont want to use those things, then I suggest getting a perm. Go to your beauty salon.

How can i make my hair curly, as in twists without using any mousse or hair curlers or hair dryer?

you can use the curling iron with the ridges already on it. Perming your hair doesn't work. I thought perming would give me that easy wavy look without much work but I was wrong. I had to use mousse everyday just to style and not frizze the perm. ugh.

How can i make my hair curly, as in twists without using any mousse or hair curlers or hair dryer?

ok you can do it with you hairdryer if your hair is wet add tonnes of mousse and scrunch it whilst blow drying it with hairdryer do you know that big bit qith the spikes on the end that looks like a hedgehog use that piece. if you dont like that try with ghd straightners and act as though your going to striaghthen it then twist you hand making sure the straightners are pointing towards the ceiling and pull down slowly that will work, and if you still dont like that then use curling tongs but spray hair spray on each section you curl to make them last longer. GOOD LUCK

conair. dey hav great beauty supplies

Can anyone recommend a really good hair dryer-i don't mind paying $$$ for it-if it wont frizz my hair.?

u can try to put a spray in ur hair so it wont frizz, i use john frieda's frizz-ease straightning spray. when u blow dry ur hair, it reduces the frizz

Can anyone recommend a really good hair dryer-i don't mind paying $$$ for it-if it wont frizz my hair.?

T3

When straightening your hair. is best to use hair dryer or hair straightener.?

depends how straight you want your hair to be. By using a hair dryer you will have straight hair but it will still have some body and volume. With a straightener it is easier to accomplish stick straight hair. IMO, it's too much work straightening hair with a dryer; with an iron you can quickly run through your hair and have smooth frizz free hair.

straightener

When straightening your hair. is best to use hair dryer or hair straightener.?

Although us females must use a blow dryer occasionally--blow dryers can be damaging to your hair (heat can burn it) so if it were me, I would opt for the straightener.

Dryer will dry out your hair.

Straightener is better.

Good Luck!

A hair straightener works best but be careful.. :-)

i do both i blow dry my hair straight but then it is still poofy so i use the straightener to make it flat

When straightening your hair. is best to use hair dryer or hair straightener.?

fro you I would have to say straightener, I myself use the dryer because I do not like using the straightener.

A Ceramic Flat Iron......

hair straightener.

When straightening your hair. is best to use hair dryer or hair straightener.?

A very hot straightener works best. Get some spray sheen %26amp; spray your hair lightly before straightening. You will find it in the Black hair care products. It will give you the no frizz look without the greasy feel.

When straightening your hair. is best to use hair dryer or hair straightener.?

I like to use a hair dryer on my hair and then take a straightener over it. I also like to use a little bit of hairspray while straightening that it way it helps hold it a little better and stops any fly aways that may be there. I do have really thick hair though so I guess it would be different for someone with fine hair.

When straightening your hair. is best to use hair dryer or hair straightener.?

For straightening your hair use a straightener

When straightening your hair. is best to use hair dryer or hair straightener.?

a straightener...dryers frizz out and dry out.

and i always use Kenra Thermal Heat protecting spray that protects your hair if you straighten it.

When straightening your hair. is best to use hair dryer or hair straightener.?

straightner

When straightening your hair. is best to use hair dryer or hair straightener.?

I straighten my hair every morning and it's much easier to use a straightener. But beware some may say the only hair dryers damage but it's not true take it from experience straighteners also do. I would suggest a ceramic straightener. They are more expensive, but they work sooo much better and they make your hair more shiny naturally. I would also use heat protector because it does damage your hair.

How do you curl your hair with out using a curlin iron or hair dryer?

i need help curling my hair

How do you curl your hair with out using a curlin iron or hair dryer?

you can try going to bed with rollers in or keeping them in for awhile-

How do you curl your hair with out using a curlin iron or hair dryer?

you can go to sleep with damp hair and put it in a loose bun when you wake up it looks really nice or you can scrunch it

How do you curl your hair with out using a curlin iron or hair dryer?

go to bed at night with pin curls all over your hair or wrap your hair around rags and tie the rah ends together to stay in

How do you curl your hair with out using a curlin iron or hair dryer?

I suggest pin curls. All you have to do is wet your hair (either after bath/shower, or spray it w/water bottle) and you need duck bill clips or bobby pins will work too. Here is a site to tell you how to do it:

How do you curl your hair with out using a curlin iron or hair dryer?

Hi

My Mum and Grandmother would use rags. They would cut them into strips and twist the hair around it. When I had short hair they would use bobby pins and make little curls all around. What a time trying to sleep with a headfull of those. You could also use good old fashioned hair rollers {the soft ones] Don't roll your hair in them at night when your hair is wet though because it won't dry. Slightly damp seems to work well. You get used to sleeping with those on your head. Ever seen pictures of women in the forties and fifties with rollers and a scarf wrapped around? They had great curly hair from those. Good Luck!

If u get electricuted when ur hair dryer touches water then y dont u.....?

get electricuted when its close to ur wet hair?!?

If u get electricuted when ur hair dryer touches water then y dont u.....?

All the electrical parts are inside the dryer and can only shock you if submerged in water. Don't go trying this, could be dangerous to your health.

If u get electricuted when ur hair dryer touches water then y dont u.....?

because it is not submerged in the water therefore it does not have a path to travel

If u get electricuted when ur hair dryer touches water then y dont u.....?

The machine itself needs to come in contact with water and the water needs to get inside the machine where all of the electrical things are.

Should i dry my hair with a hair dryer after i use straightening shampoo?

Should i dry my hair with a hair dryer after i use straightening shampoo?

On a hair dryer, what does the ionic off/on switch do?

I always keep mine on, just because..... I really don't know why. I just do. That's why I'm asking this question now. Should it be on, and why?

On a hair dryer, what does the ionic off/on switch do?

i think its to help puffiness. i leave mine always on too.

On a hair dryer, what does the ionic off/on switch do?

Leave it on. It produces negative ions which will reduce frizzy, flyaway hair and it breaks the water down into smaller particles that dry faster.

Best salon hair dryer?

Here is one

Been using hair dryer for almost 6 hours now how long does it take?

You don"t say what you are up to with that hair dryer, but I"m going to guess you"re using it to thaw out some frozen water pipes. If so --then after all this time -- I would just shut it off and try something else.

Been using hair dryer for almost 6 hours now how long does it take?

get a new hair dryer

Been using hair dryer for almost 6 hours now how long does it take?

3 days. 4 if your hair is really long.

Been using hair dryer for almost 6 hours now how long does it take?

what are you using it for? to dry up the Atlantic Ocean, at least 2 more hours if you have it on the highest setting.

Been using hair dryer for almost 6 hours now how long does it take?

Are you drying your hair or defrosting a walk-in freezer?

Been using hair dryer for almost 6 hours now how long does it take?

I love those questions from the "new comers" -- they sound like "new babies" finding their way around. Yours is a typical question that has no beginning and no end. Now a dryer for 6 hrs. on a head -- you should check first with an electrician, then with an cosmetician -- then of course with a beauty parlor before jumping here -- why -- because by the time you get those answers -- you or your hair might be "on fire" and you need the fire department. Enough said, I hope you do get the message that a hair dryer for 6 straight, continuous hours on a head -- makes it hot, hot, hot. Now, time to cool down and un-plug the hair dryer and take a rest. Hope it helps.

Been using hair dryer for almost 6 hours now how long does it take?

using it for what?????????????

Been using hair dryer for almost 6 hours now how long does it take?

Just a few minutes if you're smart enough to turn it on

Been using hair dryer for almost 6 hours now how long does it take?

depends on how much hair you have. Mr. T, about six hours,Fabio, about six days

Been using hair dryer for almost 6 hours now how long does it take?

this isnt normal if your talking about your hair if your talkign about paint it is i sugest you get a new hair dryer oh unless you have thick hair and are useing a thin hair one then about 2 more hours

Been using hair dryer for almost 6 hours now how long does it take?

I assume you're still talking about thawing that frozen pipe.

It shouldn't take that long, as long as you're sure you've located the frozen spot. It seems that either you're working on the wrong spot, or your pipe really is frozen solid for a good deal of its length. In either case, the hair dryer obviously isn't working.

Try setting up a couple of space heaters along the length of the pipe. Expose as much of the pipe as possible to as much warm air as possible.

Been using hair dryer for almost 6 hours now how long does it take?

Assuming it is a frozen pipe, if you have a faucet at a low point, start thawing close to the open faucet, and work your way up allowing all of the thawed water to drain.

If you have significant amounts of frozen pipe below the last possible drain point then raising the temp in the room above 32 degrees in some manner (Open a door from the house, space heaters, etc.) could be the easiest way. You could also inject high strength alcohol into a higher point and allow it to work at the ice. Need as much alcohol as you have ice, and it has to be 90-100% alcohol to be effective. I think drug stores sell it at that strength.

Good luck, thawing pipes is no fun...

Been using hair dryer for almost 6 hours now how long does it take?

Are you even reading your responses that you get to your questions? Yesterday you said "3" hours. Today it's 6?

Shame.

Listen to the good advice that people are trying to give you.

No one has said "use your hairdryer" except you. Obviously it isn't working!

Read your answers to yesterday's question and read today's simular answers and do something useful.

Do You Like Sitting Under A Salon Hair Dryer Thing?

Do you enjoy sitting under one of those black dryers? I hate it after 5 minutes

Do You Like Sitting Under A Salon Hair Dryer Thing?

Do You Like Sitting Under A Salon Hair Dryer Thing?

Do You Like Sitting Under A Salon Hair Dryer Thing?

Do You Like Sitting Under A Salon Hair Dryer Thing?

I find it relaxing

Do You Like Sitting Under A Salon Hair Dryer Thing?

i don't like using the dryer but if you want to look nice you will bare it. what i do is try to place a towel around my neck, ears and face it seems to help and make it more bearable. but the good thing about it helps from getting ear rack better known as ear infection from water going into the air.

I do because it cuts the amount of time I would spend under a regular dryer in half, i don't because it's freaking hot.lol

no it didnt work for me !!

How do u use a hair dryer and round brush to straighten ur hair?

DONT DO THAT it damages ur hair more than a straitenign iron does

How do u use a hair dryer and round brush to straighten ur hair?

PRACTICE !!

How do u use a hair dryer and round brush to straighten ur hair?

put the small smaft on your hair and point it down wards abbout 10cm from your hair on a low setting keeping your hair taught with the round brush and as you near the end brnig the dryers up and down the mid length of your hair to the ends and make sure you dont face the shaft of the dryer upwards or youll get fly aways use redken volumising serum in a small amount and smooth it through all your hair when your hair is 80% dry. then keep drying, it can hurt your arms but you have to be patient dont use a high setting, and the a LITTLE wax to smooth off and hold

How do u use a hair dryer and round brush to straighten ur hair?

typically we would use a round brush to make the hair turn up or under....a vent, or flat brush is used to straighten ur hair,

start at scalp (easier if done in sections) put tension on the hair while slowly pulling the brush through the hair...

as you are pulling with the brush, you are following with the dryer.

This is a physical bond, simply meaning, when it gets wet it will curl again.

gotta have the brush pulled kinda tight as you dry each strand.
