I bought a new hair dryer tonight, It has an optional on off ION switch, what does that mean and when would I use, or not use it????

it basically put ion particles into the hair making it more managable, les staticky, better condition. i don't have a switch that i can turn off and have noticed a difference in my hair over time. try using it both ways and see if u notice a difference.
