Which method of using a hair dryer is more annoying?

I live in an apartment with thin walls and wonder if my neighbors can hear my hair dryer. That made me wonder if it is more annoying to turn the hair dryer on high for a short period of time or turn it on low for a longer period of time. What do you think?

On high for a short time.... doesn't last as long, but harder to ignore.

On low for a longer time... easier to ignore, but lasts longer.

Whatever is better for your hair, do it. Hair drying is pretty common, and I'm sure your neighbors understand it's necessary. They also know it won't last forever (though I'm sure they will be less annoyed if it's not too early in the morning).

It's nice to consider your neighbours, but using a hair dryer is considered normal activity as long as it's at a reasonable hour. I would say that what ever it takes to do your hair, just do it and be done with it. If you want you could ask your neighbours if it bugs them.

When you have sex, do you ponder whether to have short but noisey blustery sex, or quiet, longer-lasting subdued sex. Thin walls or not, sometimes you have to think about yourself more than the morons behind the wall. It's your landlord's fault for using shoddy building materials.
