no. why should it? its the heat that will damage it. so as long as you use heat protectants and dont use heat on your hair every single day, you should be good.

Them being 5 dollars has nothing to do with whether it will ruin your hair or not. A straightener period damages your hair. I also use hair protection spray and ever since I have been straightening my hair I have noticed that my ends get split and dry much quicker after a hair cut then they used to.

I'd have to say yeah they would... When dealing with heat styling tools it's always best to invest in good quality products... Unfortunately no protection spray in the world can protect your tresses from and cheap styling tool that's outta control!

It has nothing to do with the price, though I may consider buying one twenty or thirty dollars more just get better results, because it may take longer with a cheap one.

Just make sure to wash your hair daily and remember to use hair serum and protection.

Do u mean because they are so cheap?? I don't think that will really have much to do with it.. Straightening does damage your hair tho, as does blow drying but as long as u use the heat protection spray u should b fine :-)

all straighteners are bad for your hair it doesnt matter how much they cost just use a heat protecter and u will be fine =]
