Do you straight your hair with a blow-dryer before using the flat iron?

I do that even though my hair is just wavy not curly. For some reason it looks better when I blow-dry it straight before using the flat iron. I was wondering if a lot of women do that. Do you?

No. I am too impatient. If I have to I will blow dry it then straighten it. But usually I dont.

I always dry my hair before I straighten it. I have never used a hot iron on my wet hair.

I do, it just comes out softer because your brushing it as you go along. Usually with a flatiorn you just take peices by hand =] Also it make my hair shinner.

i blow dry it when i take a shower to dry it but to straight it out just use oil sheen they sale it at sally's or a beauty store spray it all over your hair and it would staighted it out better then the blow dryer.

yeah I do I take about 2 hours every time I shower and its completely worth it it makes my hair look great :)
