Yes!!! I would spray in a thermal protector before styling my hair. I also let hair dry as much as possible before starting the to blow dry. There are also Ionic dryers with ceramic that are fast and less damaging.

Yes!! Any heat directed at the hair can damage it.. Use a heat protection spray before you blow dry it..I use a Toni and guy one..conditions it and protects it.

Yes. Heat is heat is heat is heat. Although it's not ON your hair like a flat iron, it's still changing your hair's molecular construction. (Yes, that is what heat/moisture does to hair). That's why when you blow-dry or flat-iron your hair too much, it eventually loses its original curl (if you had one).
